Men's Basketball (4-26, 1-17)
This Week: San José State enters the Air Force Reserve Mountain West Tournament as the 11th seed and play sixth-seed Air Force Wednesday at 4 p.m. If the Spartans win, the team faces #3 Fresno State Thursday night at 8:30 p.m.
Last Week: The Spartans lost twice, 81-71, in a home game with Wyoming and 121-81 at Fresno State last Saturday.
Spartan Fact: Noah Baumann tied the school single-season record for three-point baskets made at 78 with his third and final three-pointer in the Fresno State game with 2:00 to go. He made a three-pointer in 28 consecutive games.

Women's Swimming & Diving
This Week: San José State travels to Cleveland for the National Invitational Championships. The Spartans placed fifth at the 2018 championships.
Spartan Fact: Eight Spartans will be competing in various events - Brenna Bushey, Taylor Lehr, Kendal Guy, Antoinette Loya, Madelyn Sailors, Chloe Limargo, Gabby Heng, Violani Auva'a.
Baseball (9-6, 3-3)
This Week: The Spartans are scheduled to play four games this week. I
Last Week: The team went 2-2, falling 12-6 at San Francisco last Tuesday, and going 2-1 against Air Force with two wins - 4-1 and 3-2, before falling 5-3 in the series finale.
Spartan Fact: Andrew Mitchel struck out 18 Air Force batters last Friday night in a complete-game win to improve his record to 1-2. His 18 strikeouts are the third-most in a single game in school history and second-most in a nine-inning game. The only Spartan with more in nine innings was Jim Visher, who struck out 20 vs. CSU Hayward on March 7, 1964.

Softball (11-7)
This Week: The Spartan softball team plays a non-conference game against Bucknell on Tuesday before hosting the Spartan Invitational presented by Mizuno on Thursday through Saturday.
Last Week: The team went 1-2 last week at the Silicon Valley Classic II, falling to UC Davis, 6-5, and CSUN, 12-1 (5) before defeating Weber State, 8-0 (5).
Spartan Fact: Jenessa Ullegue pitched a complete game shutout in the Spartans 8-0 defeat of Weber State. Ullegue (5-2) scattered five hits and struck out four to earn the win, but also contributed with her bat going 3-for-3 and scoring twice.

This Week: The 35th-ranked Spartans are currently practicing in preparation for the Juli Inkster Invitational at Meadow Club, next Monday and Tuesday, March 18 and 19, hosted by SJSU and San Francisco.
About the tournament: The Spartans are one of 12 teams in the field - #27 Pepperdine, #47 California, #73 Sacramento State, #78 Tulsa, #81 Washington State, #82 Rutgers, #103 Nevada, #110 Minnesota, #113 San Francisco, #124 Boise State and #124 Cal State Tournament.
Last Year: Spartan Alexandra Cooper finished tied for 10th as San José State was eighth out of 16 teams. Washington won the tournament by 10 shots.

Women's Basketball (6-24, 5-13)
This Week: The Spartans lost to Nevada, 78-68, in the first round of the Air Force Reserve Mountain West Women's Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Last Week: The Spartans won the final game of the regular season, defeating Fresno State, 65-57, last Thursday night
Spartan Fact #1: Danae Marquez and her 19 points paced San José State's offense against Nevada Sunday afternoon. She was 7-of-15 from the floor, including equaling her career-high with five three pointers, had five assists and four steals. Fieme'a Hafoka scored 15 points, dished out three assists and grabbed three boards. Cydni Lewis added 14 points and pulled down two rebounds.
Women's Gymnastics
This Week: San José State travels to Berkeley on Sunday for a quad meet with California, Illinois and Sacramento State.
Last Week: The Spartans scored a 193.725 on Senior Night this past Friday night in a meet with California.
Spartan Fact: Chelsey Andrada and Taylor Chan recorded the team's top scores Friday night. Andrada led the team with a 9.850 on beam, while Chan had a team-high 9.850 on floor.

This Week: The Spartans play four duals this week in Folsom. The team faces Saint Mary's and Sacramento State on Friday, and San Francisco and Sacramento State on Saturday.
Last Week: The Spartans were 1-2 last week with a win at Sacramento State on Friday before losses to Saint Mary's (5-0) and Stanford (4-1) on Sunday.
Spartan Fact: Julia Golbeck and Sarah Smevog are 9-1 on the season, the only loss coming against Saint Mary's. They swept Stanford pair Shannon Richardson and Blake Sharp 21-18, 21-19 for the team's only point against the Cardinal.

Spartan Fact: Five players have scored 10 or more goals this season, led by Olga Descalzi Portell with 25.

Spartan Fact: Sarahvaughn KIng was a winner in the 400 at the Aggie Open. She also helped the Spartans finish first in the 4x100 relay along with Jayla WIlliams, Diamond Tabron and Daja Johnson.
