SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's basketball team (4-22, 1-14 Mountain West) returns home to host Air Force (15-11, 9-6 Mountain West) on Wednesday morning inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. Tip off is set for 11:00 a.m. and the Spartans will celebrate Girls and Women in Sports day and honor San José State students and faculty with SJSU Day. The contest will air on NBC Sports California and Mark Jones and Marc Spears will be on the call.Tickets are available for purchase here. 
 


  • Ella Ogier is leading the Spartans in scoring (12.6 ppg), assists (60) and steals (50)
  • Cydni Lewis is grabbing a team-high 7.2 rpg and adding 12.1 ppg
  • Lewis's 989 total career points are 11 shy from a 1000 career point milestone
  • The Spartans are coming off a tough loss at UNLV on Saturday
  • Riley Snyder is leading the Falcons in scoring, averaging 15.6 ppg (4th in the MW)
  •  Haley Jones is second in the Mountain West in rebounding, grabbing 9.5 rpg (leads the conference in offensive rebounds)
  • Cierra Winters (2.73 spg) and Haley Jones (2.0 spg) are first and third in the conference in steals, respectively
  • Air Force is coming off back-to-back wins at home over Boise State and Utah State

New Covid Entry Policy:

  • All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
    • Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
  • Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
  • Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
    • For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
    • For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
  • The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies

Mask Policy:

  • Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
