HOUSTON— Siena Brewster and Amethyst Harper led San José State in Day Two of the Southland Midseason Tournament by winning both of their matches against Southeastern Louisiana and Texas A&M - Corpus Christi.
- Brewster and Harper beat SLU's Lauren Schlotzhauer and Jackie McGee in straight sets 21-10, 26-24
- Isabelle Sistek and Meredith Scott beat SLU's Mabry Ward and Ysabella Lockwood 21-19, 7-21, 15-12 for SJSU's second win on the day
- Brewster and Harper won over Corpus Christi's Jade Bennett and Tori Johnson on straight sets 22-20, 22-20
- The Spartans are now 5-4 on the season with a winning percentage of .556
UP NEXT: The Spartans will take on a four-game home stand March 17 and 18 hosting USF, Boise State, CSU Bakersfield and Oregon for the San José State Tournament.
