SAN JOSE, Calif. - The No.20 San José State women's water polo team (12-17) will battle No.18 Arizona State (8-12) this Saturday at 1:00 at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center in Tempe, Ariz. 

  • Lior Ben David scored two goals and added two assists against No.17 Indiana 
  • Lauren Woolley scored a backhand goal to tie the game 4-4 in the second quarter against No.17 Indiana. 
  • Hannah Henry recorded sixteen saves and three steals against No.5 California
  • Goalkeeper Elaina Davey recorded seven saves and one steal against No.2 USC. 
  • Kylee Jansen scored a backhand shot in the second quarter against Fresno State to put the Spartans in the lead at half, 4-3.
  • Maiken Pardon was the leading MPSF scorer last weekend with 11 goals. 
  • The Spartans went 3-1 at the Michigan Invitational. 
  • SJSU beat CSU East Bay and Santa Clara last Saturday. 
  • Sinia Plotz was named MPSF Newcomer of the week for her contribution at the Santa Clara Tournament.
  • The Spartans went 3-1 at the Santa Clara Tournament. 
  • Henry recorded a 100% save percentage against CSU Monterey Bay.  
  • Ben David was the leading scorer at the Cal Cup invitational scoring five goals. 
  • Plotz contributed four goals, three assists, and four steals at the Cal Cup Invite. 
  • SJSU tallied 21 goals against four nationally ranked teams at the Cal Cup Invitational.
  • The Spartans finished second at the Hawaii Invitational. 
  • Seniors Clarissa WandingerBailey Stubblefield, Henry, Davey, and Ban David will be honored at Saturdays match.
