FRESNO, Calif. - Sophomore Jaiden McClellan scored her first goal of the season on Thursday evening, and it came in the final minute of what would prove to be San Jose State women's soccer's last match of the season. The Spartans fell to Fresno State in a 3-1 final to end the season with a 7-11-1 overall record and 4-6-1 mark in Mountain West play.

- McClellan became the 11th Spartan to score at least one goal this season, the most since 2017 (also 11).
- Tiana Cello was credited with her second assist of the season after her perfect corner kick allowed McClellan to strike a clean look with a header.
- Fresno State struck in the 13th minute, but the Spartans held them scoreless for the rest of the first half.
- Out of the halftime break, Fresno State scored twice to take a 3-0 advantage before McClellan broke up the shutout with less than 30 seconds to play.
- The Spartans battled hard all night long and scored twice on what would turn out to be offsides calls.
- Fresno State edged the Spartans in shots (13-12) and shots on goal (7-6).
