SAN JOSE, Calif.—San José State women's gymnast Madison Kirsch has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Women's Gymnastics Specialist of the Week for her performances at the Sacramento State quad last Friday night.

- Tied for first on beam with a career-best 9.875 to win her first collegiate beam title
- Tied for second on vault with a 9.900, tying for the second-highest vault score in school history
- Tied for 6th in MPSF history with her 9.900 on vault
- Helped the vault team score the second-best score in school history at 49.125
San José State hosts UC Davis this Sunday, February 27, in the team's final home meet of the season. The competition begins at 2 p.m., inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center, and tickets are on sale at the box office at noon on Sunday.
