Spartans with Multiple Top-Place Finishes at Fresno State Invitational

CLOVIS, Calif. – Both Men’s and Women’s 400 Relays had two of the multiple top-place finishes for San José State Track & Field after the second and final day of competition at the Fresno State Invitational in Clovis on Saturday.

In Women’s 400 Relay, Selena Arjona-Alcazar, Eve Divinity, Morgan Little, Alyssa Bean, Sarah Mosteller, Nakai Johnson placed first with a 44.69.

In Men’s 400 Relay, Cameron Tarver, Malachi Snow, Jaden Smith, Isaac Davis took first place with a 39.77. 

  • Snow took first place in the Men's 100 Dash with a time of 10.32 seconds.
  • Also, in Men's 100 Dash, Tarver placed third with a time of 10.55 seconds.
  • In the Men's 200 Dash, Snow finished first with a time of 20.63 seconds.
  • Also in the Men's 200 Dash, Tarver finished in second with a time of 20.91 seconds.
  • In Men's 400 Dash, Smith took second with a time of 47.38 seconds.
  • In the Women’s 400 Dash, Bean finished third with a time of 54.49 seconds.
  • In the Women’s 100 Hurdles, Sky Hagan took first place with a time of 13.83 seconds.
  • In Men’s 110 Hurdles, Demaris Waters finished first with a time of 13.77 seconds.
  • In the Men's 1600 Relay, Tarver, Smith, Harry Overstreet, Jeremiah Walker, Zaire Waring, Christopher Coats and Cooper Decillo took first place with a time of 3:13.76.
  • Also in Men’s 400 Dash, Overstreet placed third with a time of 48.05.
  • Emilia Sjostrand in the Womens Triple Jump, took first place with a distance of 13.43 meters.
  • Also in the Women’s 100 Hurdles, Kendall McCoy placed third with a time of 14.46 seconds. 
  • Also in Men’s 110 Hurdles, Micah Hairston took second place with a time of 14.21 seconds. 
  • In Women's 800 Run, Aliyah Williams finished second with a time of 2:11.98.
  • In Women's High Jump, Lina Schubert finished second with a jump of 1.70 meters.
  • In Men's Shot Put, Jacob Lopez finished fourth with a put of 15.56 meters
  • Also in Men's Shot Put, Pablo Villasenor III placed fifth with a put of 14.95 meters.

UP NEXT: The Spartans will return to Clovis, Calif. in two weeks to compete in the Mountain West Championships May 10-12 from Veterans Memorial Stadium.
