2020:
- A starter in the four games he played
- Contributed to an offense that allowed just eight quarterback sacks for the season
- Team averaged 177.2 yards per game rushing when he was in the lineup compared to 132.5 for the season
- Was named to the Rimington Trophy preseason watch list recognizing the top center in the country.
2019:
- Starting center in every game to extend his consecutive starting streak to 19 games
- Part of an offensive line that yielded only 14 quarterback sacks and provided protection for 498 pass attempts
- Offensive line ranked ninth nationally for fewest sacks allowed and had one of the best ratios of sacks to pass attempts (1 to 35.6)
- Helped pave the way for San Jose State to finish fourth nationally and lead the Mountain West in passing yardage per game at 338.0.
2018:
- Appeared in all 12 games and was the starting center in the last seven games of the season
- Played on special teams, but did not see any action on defense
- Credited with one tackle on a Spartan turnover in the Washington State game (9/8).
2017:
- Played in all 13 games primarily as a reserve defensive lineman and as a lineman on kick-scoring opportunities
- Was moved from offense to defense early in the season
- Credited with 11 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss
- Was credited with a tackle in six of the games he played
- First major college tackle came in the Utah contest (9/16)
- Season-high three stops at Nevada (11/11)
- Assisted on a tackle for loss against San Diego State (10/21).
2016:
- Completed the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 CalHiSports.com fourth-team all-state and two-time C.I.F. Southern Section Division I honoree for Chaparral High in Temecula, Calif. (Coach Ryan Tukua)... Played center, tackle and guard and was used as a tight end his sophomore season... A two-time first-team All-Southwestern League and two-time all-valley choice... Concluded his career as a member of the West team at the 2015 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Carson, Calif. ... Two-sport letterwinner also was a shot put and discus thrower in track and field.
