• Following San Jose State's 4-1 start to the 2022 season, the Spartans moved up four spots to 12th in the national weekly coaches' poll
• Freshman Cila David was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Newcomer of the Week for matches ending January 23.
• After the first week of action, Elaina Davey is one of the top goalkeepers nationally for number of saves (46, 1st), saves per match (9.20, 3rd), goals against average (7.60, 4th), and save percentage (6th, .548).
• Also, Olga Descalzi (5th) and Riley Agerbeek (8th) are among the top goal scorers in the nation. Lior Ben David (6th in field blocks, 7th in assists, 8th in sprint wins) and Lucy Miszewski (tied for 7th in steals with Descalzi) also are in the top-10 national statistical leaders.
