SAN JOSE, Calif. – Hunter Dorraugh hit his team-leading fourth home run of the season, while Aaron Eden struck out six to lead San José State (4-1, 0-0 Mountain West) in a 14-3 win over Northern Colorado (0-5, 0-0 Summit) from Excite Ballpark Tuesday afternoon.
- Eden went 6.1 innings while striking out six, giving up three hits and only two earned runs for his first victory as a Spartan
- Dorraugh's blast was a 3-run shot and he has eight RBIs on the season
- Makana Olaso went 3-for-4 with his first career home run and two RBis
- Charles McAdoo went 2-for-5 with three RBIs and also has eight on the season
- Jack Colette had a two RBI double has three RBIs this season
- Robert Hamchuk and Colette each scored a pair of runs
- This is the best start for the Spartans since the 2019 season when they also started 4-1
