Jack Colette joined the SJSU baseball coaching staff as the volunteer assistant coach in 2024 following one of the best careers in SJSU history. Colette helped lead the 2023 Spartans to their first Mountain West Championship and then on to the NCAA Tournament. The Torrance, Calif. native graduated from SJSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies in 2021 and a Master's Degree in Kinesiology in 2023.

- Hit 7-for-17 (.412) across five games in the Mountain West Championship with four RBIs and 12 total bases in addition to catching the championship-clinching out on a fly ball to center field

- Recorded three hits, one run and one RBI against LMU (Feb. 17)
- Notched two hits, one of which was a home run, scored two runs and tallied two RBIs against Fresno State (March 3)
- The next day, scored twice with one double and another base hit against Fresno State (March 4)
- Had two hits, a double and two RBIs against St. Louis (March 25)
- Scored twice, tallied two RBIs with a double and another base hit against St. Louis (March 26)
- Tallied three runs scored, a double and another base hit to go along with an RBI against Santa Clara (March 27)
- Scored four runs against Nevada (April 1)
- Had three hits with a double, two singles and an RBI against New Mexico (April 7)
- Totaled five RBIs on four hits, including one double, two triples and a home run against New Mexico (April 8)
- Had three RBIs on three hits with one triple and one home run against UNLV (April 16)
- Had two doubles including a walk-off double in the 10th inning to to beat Fresno State (April 21)
2022:
- Started 50-of-54 games played
- Notched a triple and scored four runs at Air Force (May 15)
- Had four RBIs against Nevada (May 28)
- Tallied one double, one triple, and one home run against Nevada in the Mountain West Tournament (May 28)
- Made just three errors with 149 putouts on the season
2021:
- Was the only Spartan to appear in all 36 games, drawing starts in 35 of them
- Finished season with 32 hits, 18 RBI, 17 runs scored and four home runs
- Ranked first on the team in starts and second in homers
- Tallied a three-hit game (3-for-5) at Mountain West champion Nevada (May 29)
- Notched a pair of three-RBI contests on the season against the conference's top two teams, San Diego St. (May 27) and at Nevada (May 29)
2020:
- Made 13 appearances and drew nine starts in the outfield
- Held a .314 batting average with 11 hits and three RBI
- Had four multi-hit games
- Was 2-for-4 with two RBI, a double and a run scored in win over Creighton (Feb. 22)
- Season canceled after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic
2019:
- Started nine games in the field and had one appearance on the mound
- Played in 36 games
- Finished season with seven hits, three RBI and five runs scored
- Made first start in the outfield at Northwestern (March 30)
- Had first multi-hit game at Stanford in a 2-for-4 showing (April 23)
- Pitched 1.0 inning at UNLV (April 14)
2018:
- One of three players to see time at the plate and on the mound
- Five appearances at the plate as pinch hitter with one start as DH
