San Jose State University's athletic training staff is responsible for the care of student-athletes once they arrive on campus, working to prevent and care for athletic injuries and enhance their physical well-being. In the event that a student athlete does sustain an injury, the student-athlete is treated by an outstanding team of experienced certified athletic trainers and health care professionals.

The athletics health care team consists of 13 full-time certified athletic trainers and two certified graduate assistant athletic trainers. The Sports Medicine team is fortunate to have two sports-medicine trained physicians and one orthopedic surgeon who volunteer their time in order to better care for our athletes. In addition, we have a dedicated staff of specialists who volunteer their time including our team chiropractor and physical therapists.

Student-athletes receive care and treatment at any one of the three convenient athletic training facilities on the San Jose State University campus.
