ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.– Soledad Fayos Capilla and Emma Fantousis lost no sets across singles and doubles to lead San José State (15-1, 6-0 MW) in a 4-0 sweep against New Mexico (8-11, 2-4 MW) on Sunday morning.

- This is the first time the Spartans are 15-1 since the 2020-21 season
- Olaya Bances Iglesias and Duru Durgun dominated doubles, 6-1
- Fantousis and Fayos Capilla earned the Spartans the doubles point, 6-3
- Fayos Capilla quickly wrapped up her singles match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0
- She remains to have a perfect singles record in both dual and conference play, with records of 10-0 and 3-0
- Fantousis dominated her opponent in singles, 6-2, 6-4
- Durgun clinched the Spartans' win, 6-0, 6-3
