This Weekend in San José State Athletics returns to catch you up on last week's action and see what's ahead for the Spartans!

Women’s Tennis

Record: 15-1, 6-0 MW

This Week: The Spartans will host San Diego State on Sunday.

Last Week: The Spartans defeated Air Force 4-3 and New Mexico 4-0, remaining undefeated in conference play.

Spartan Fact: This is the best start for the Spartans since the 2020-21 season when they started 14-0.

Softball

Record: 16-18, 4-5 MW

This Week: The Spartans will host Utah State for two games this weekend, Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 from Spartan Softball Complex after earning a midweek 5-4 walk-off win against Pacific at home on Wednesday.

Last Week: The Spartans are coming off of a 1-2 weekend against Fresno State at Margie Wright Diamond in Fresno. SJSU had a 2-0 win on Friday and would drop the Friday and Saturday games.

Last Week: The Spartans took one game out of three in their series vs. Fresno State. They also fell to Pacific in a road midweek contest.

This Week: The Spartans will split the squad this weekend and compete in two local meets at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational hosted by Cal and the Stanford Invitational at Stanford.

Last Time - SJSU set multiple new personal bests as they continued their outdoor season at the Hornet Invitational hosted by Sacramento State.

Spartan Fact: Sky Hagan at the Hornet Invite, set a new SJSU all-time outdoor record and lifetime best in the Women’s 100m Hurdles with a time of 13.26 seconds.
