Charlie Kinne Season 2021

AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his first season with the Spartans... ...  A defensive back candidate... Joins the program for the first time during 2021 Fall drills.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football, basketball, track and field, and baseball during his high school career divided between Los Altos (Calif.) High for his sophomore and junior years and Valley Christian in San Jose, Calif. for his senior year ... Saw action as a wide receiver, safety and quarterback... Named a first-team All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League El Camino Division quarterback for his junior season at Los Altos High (Coach Dave DeGeronimo)... A sprinter, hurdler, and jumper in track and field... Placed second in the long jump, fifth in the triple jump and sixth  in the 110 high hurdles at the 2021 Central Coast Section track and field championships.

MORE ON CHARLIE: Plans to major in communication studies... Would like to enter the real estate field... Enjoys auto racing and has driven competitively at the Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway and Laguna Seca in Salinas, Calif. ... Charlie is native of Lexington, Ky.
