Iman Bayat Season 2019

AT SJSU: Entering his second year with the Spartans in 2020.

2019: Took the 2019 season as a redshirt. 

DE ANZA COLLEGE: Ran the 800m, 1500m and 5000m at De Anza...was a two-time all-state selection for the 800m and 1500m in 2019...set personal bests of 1:55.00 in the 800m, 3:59.65 in the 1500m and 15:37.87 in the 5000m.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport star at Lycee de Provence...also lettered in basketball and soccer...personal bests of 2:35.47 in the 1000m and 1:57.81 in the 800m...ran for La SCO St. Marguerite at the club level...qualified for nationals in cross country and finished 69th out of the 364-man field.

GET TO KNOW IMAN: Majoring in Material Engineering...hopes to use his degree to begin working in the development of new materials to improve athletic performances after college...enjoys traveling, cooking and photography in his free time.
