HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Gulliver Prep in Miami, Fla. ...a four-year letterwinner (coaches Matias Asorey and Luchi Gonzales)...a three-time district (2010-12) and one-time regional (2013) champion...led team to an 19-3-3 record and a spot in the state final as a senior...earned first-team all-state and Miami Herald All-Dade honors as a senior...named the team[apos]s MVP and Golden Boot Award winner...junior year selected a second-team Miami Herald All-Dade performer.
CLUB: Played for the Kendall Academy under coach Matias Asorey from 2010-13...reached State Cup finals while team captain in 2010...played in the Manchester United Cup finals.
BRYAN: Undecided on a major...the son of Isabel and Juan Ruiz-Unger...is a volunteer in the GOALS (Growing, Observing, Achieving, Life Skills) for Autism...a native of Miami, Fla., Bryan Alexander Ruiz-Unger was born December 7, 1994.
