2012: Played in all 18 matches and started 14 for 1,099 minutes...led team in assists (6)...second on the side in goals (7), points (20), shots (30), and shots on goal (18)...two of his seven tallies and two of his six assists came against Santa Clara (9/9) for a team single-game high six points...scored a goal in the each of the Spartans[apos] final three matches of the season...took a single-game high four shots three times...18 shots were on frame...in the match at Seattle (9/30), his four shots were all on goal...in the MPSF, ranked fifth in points and points-per-game (1.11), and seventh in goals, goals-per-game (.39), assists, and assists-per-game (.33).
2011: Earned starts against Cleveland State (9/9), Nebraska-Omaha (9/11) and Santa Clara (9/22) among his 16 total appearances...took 12 shots with a single-game high three against Sacramento State (10/2)...produced his first point as a Spartan, an assist, in a 2-0 win over Nebraska-Omaha...of his 12 shots, two were on frame - against Fresno Pacific (8/26) and Seattle (10/7)...played a total of 616 minutes on the season.
OREGON STATE: Played the 2010 season for the Beavers...saw action in 11 matches making two starts...had one assist...took five shots with two on goal.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Leland High School in San Jose, Calif....earned four letters in soccer (Coach Dan Minutillo)...recorded 19 goals and 12 assists as a senior...named an All-Blossom Valley Athletic League performer.
JONATHAN: Majoring in kinesiology...played club soccer for Santa Clara Sporting SC (Coach Carlos Brasil)... the son of Alma Salceda...a native of San Jose, Calif., Jonathan Chavez Salceda was born October 29, 1992.
