2020-21: Was a member of the team's practice squad while redshirting in his first year on-campus. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Oakland Tech ... Won the Oakland Athletic League MVP award as a senior ... Also won the league's scoring title in his senior season  ... Was star player on OAL title-winning sides as a junior and senior ... Scored 25 goals on the 2020 campaign.

GET TO KNOW MAZI: Plans on majoring in computer science ... Hopes to continue his soccer career after graduation ... Parents are Derwin and Stacey ... Has two siblings - Adeya and Chimezie ... Enjoys coding and video editing in his free time ... Played club soccer for the ACC Mavericks, LaMorinda SC, De Anza Force DA and San Jose Earthquakes PDA.
