2011: Started all 19 matches in which he appeared, playing a field-playerbest 1648 minutes...took a career-high two shots, one each at Loyola Marymount (9/16)and at Sacramento State (11/5).
2010: One of three Spartans to start all 19 matches...played a team-leading 1,725 minutes...honored as co-captain...named to the Cal State Fullerton All-Tournament team (9/10-12)...team Most Valuable Player.
2009: One of three Spartans to start all 20 matches...led the team with 1,818 minutes...took one shot, which was on goal.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Lowell High School in San Francisco, Calif....was a member of the two-time champion and one-time finalist of the Academic Athletic Association (Coach Ernie Feibusch)...was an all-city selection as a junior.
CLUB/OTHER: Played on the VFL Osnabruck U19 squad in Osnabruck, Germany and later trained and played with the U20 sides of Santos FC, Portuguesa Londrinense and Santo Andre FC in Sao Paulo, Brazil...played on the Cal-North state Olympic Development Program (ODP) team from the U15 to U17 levels, made the Far West Regional team for U16 and played in the Disney Showcase...previous club experience includes a stint with San Francisco Inter and the San Francisco Glens...in the game of futsal, the three-time Cal-North State Cup winner has been a member of two winning sides at nationals...during the 2009 summer, played for NorCal LaMorinda United SC, helping them to an 8-5-1 mark and the NPSL West Region final as the No. 2 seed.
NICK: Majoring in physics...plans on attending graduate school...enjoys playing the piano and reading... younger brother, Dylan, plays forward on the SJSU soccer team...the son of Anita Paciotti and Harry Russell Murphy...a native of San Francisco, Calif., Nick Murphy was born October 26, 1988.
