Before Temple: Trained at Apollo Gymnastics (2018) and Unique Gymnastics (2015-2017)... In the 2018 season, was the vault champion in four of six meets and the bars champion in five of six meets. Highest score in the all-around was 38.3... In 2017, was a JO Nationals qualifier, Region 7 vault champion (9.8), placed second on uneven bars and vault and third in the all-around at States, placed first in vault in six of seven meets... In 2016, qualified for JO Nationals where she placed third on vault, placed third on vault and in the all-around at Regionals and was the vault champion at States... In 2015, qualified for States and Regionals... Also earned a varsity letter and MVP award in cheerleading... Was an honor roll student at Westlake.
Personal: Parents are Elizabeth and Arnel Castrence... Brother, Ian Castrence, was the 2017 U.S. Open Elite National Champion for power tumbling... He also competed for the U.S. and placed 15th at the 2017 World Age Group Championships.
