The Spartans practice and play their home games at Excite Ballpark (formerly Municipal Stadium). It is located 588 E. Alma Avenue, across the street from the Spartan Golf Complex on South Campus.
The 5,200-seat stadium also houses the San Jose Giants of the Class A California League.
Excite Ballpark has a full size scoreboard and video board located in right field. Additionally, a full press box, concession stands, restrooms and ticket offices are available on gamedays. Groups can book the Martinelli's VIP Deck down the third base line to host outings up to 200 people.
The San Jose State athletics department is looking to turn an area of open land and a parking lot on 10th street, behind the East Fieldhouse, where the baseball team locker room and coaches office are located, into a baseball practice field. Fundraising efforts are on-going.
