AT SAN JOSE STATE: In her first season with the Spartans after transferring from the University of Hawai'i. 

2020: Sat out the spring season.

UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI'I (2019): Redshirted in her lone season with the Warriors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time letter winner at San Marcos High ... Picked up first team Avocado Conference East honors and was a second team All-CIF honoree ... As a sophomore, she helped lead the team to a runner-up finish in the state championship ... Tallied 41 career goals in three seasons, including seven game-winners. 

NATIONAL: Has national team experience as a member of the Kazakhstan National Team U16, U17 and U19 since 2014 ... She has made 22 appearances with the team across eight different countries ... At the age of 17, she was called up to the adult's women's team where she trained and played in two World Cup qualifying matches against Russia and England. 

GET TO KNOW BATYA: A Kinesiology major ... Parents are James Whittington and Hana Bagully ... Has a sister, Riva ... Enjoys playing basketball, traveling and going on adventures ... Plans on playing professional soccer and becoming an athletic trainer.
