The San Jose State Spartan Tennis Complex is located on South Campus, near CEFCU Stadium. 

The facility includes six competition courts with lighting, sound system, spectator seating and viewing areas and a full scoreboard. 

The Spartan Tennis Complex also includes a seventh court, the Mubadala Stadium Court. The complex hosts the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic, a WTA event, over nine days every August. 

The Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic is the longest-running women-only professional tennis tournament in the world and is the first stop of the US Open Series. Owned and operated by IMG, the WTA Premier event features a 28-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles draw. Former champions include Billie Jean King, Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, Andrea Jaeger, Monica Seles, Martina Hingis, Lindsay Davenport, Serena Williams, Venus Williams and Kim Clijsters.
