Denver, Colo. - Emmanuel Espinosa, a sophomore goalkeeper from San Jose, Calif., was named the Western Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of October 7-13.
The Evergreen Valley High School product posted his second shutout of the season in a 1-0 victory over UNLV on Sunday afternoon. Espinosa made a four saves in recording the fourth clean sheet of his collegiate career.
This is the second time this year Espinosa has been honored with conference Player of the Week recognition.
