San Jose, Calif. - The San José State men's soccer team hosts the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on Friday night and the Air Force Academy Falcons on Sunday afternoon in its final two home matches of the season.

MEN'S SOCCER TICKETS

Tickets for all San José State men's soccer home games are free for all SJSU students, faculty and staff with a valid ID. Adult tickets are $5.00, $2.00 for youth (12 and under) and any child wearing a jersey gets in for free.

Groups of 20 or more can buy discounted tickets at $3.00 per person. The ticket office opens one hour prior to kick-off at Spartan Stadium or can be purchased by calling San José State Athletics Ticket Office at 408-924-SJTX (7589).

SCOUTING GRAND CANYON

The Antelopes enter the week with a 2-8-1 record, 1-3-0 in Western Athletic Conference action

This will be the first meeting between these two programs. the "Lopes are transitioning to Division I and are not eligible to participate in the WAC Tournament. They earned their first conference win of the season last week, a 3-0 decision, at Houston Baptist. However, they fell at Kansas City on Sunday 0-2.

The GCU's leading scorer is Kyle Ciliento (4 G, 2 A - 8 PTS). Al Sanchez Garcia has found the back of the net three times and leads the side with 38 shots and 15 shots on goal.

Joshua Zehring has played every minute of the Antelopes 11 matches and has a 2-8-1 record. His GAA is 1.68 and save % is .678.

Head Coach Petar Draksin is in his 21st season leading the Grand Canyon program. He brought a 216-145-37 career record into this season.

SCOUTING AIR FORCE

The Falcons enter the week with a 1-9-2 record, 1-1-2 in conference action after a loss at Kansas City and a tie at Houston Baptist last weekend. Air Force plays at Seattle U on Friday evening ahead of its match with the Spartans on Sunday.

The last meeting between the schools was in Colorado Springs, Colo. last year. The Spartans dropped a 1-3 decision. The last time the teams met in San Jose came in the 2011 season. That result was also an Air Force win, 1-0.

The Falcons' leading scorers are Zachary Modly (3 G, 2 A - 8 PTS) and Ryan Ward (3 G - 6 PTS). Blake Elder is tied with Modly for the lead in assists with two.

Air Force has used three keepers this year with Jake Schenk spending the most time in goal. He has a GGA of 2.06, a save % of .709 in 697:26 of work and a 0-6-1 record.

Head Coach Doug Hill is in his seventh season leading the Air Force program. He brought a 46-60-9 career record into this season.
