Spartans Look For Win Against UC Santa Cruz

San Jose, Calif. --- The San José State University women's swimming team look for their first win of the season as they travel to Santa Cruz on Friday, November 1 to compete in a 16 event dual meet against UC Santa Cruz.

In their last showing against the Banana Slugs, the Spartans placed first all 11 events in the 174-31 win over UC Santa Cruz and senior Darcie Anderson and sophomore Michelle Berry placed first in two individual events.

Berry placed first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.31 and in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:29.73. Anderson finished first in the 100 fly and 100 breast with times of 57.66 and 1:04.28, respectively. She also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team.

The Spartans hit the pool at 2:00 p.m. (PT) at the Aquatic Center on the UC Santa Cruz campus.
