The Spartans kept the first set close, losing by just two points. But in the second set, San José State hit .000 and in the third set, hit -.081 to drop the final two sets by 25-14 margins.

In the match, the Spartans hit a season-low .046 and were outblocked by the Broncos, 10-2.

With the loss, San José State's overall record falls to 8-18 overall record and 5-10 in the Mountain West. The win improves Boise State's overall record to 12-15 and 6-11 in the Mountain West.

The Spartans return to the Event Center on Thursday, November 21, for a 7:00 p.m. match against Colorado State.

"We need to keep working hard and with the focus of improving and getting better," Crespo said. "We need to continue to be competitive in every match and be much more detail-oriented."
