Mobile, Ala.-------San Jose State University's record-setting quarterback David Falesaccepted an invitation to play in the 2014 Reese's Senior Bowl all-star football game.
The 2014 game is scheduled for January 25, 3:00 p.m. (CT)/1:00 p.m. (PT) at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The NFL Network will televise the game live.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Spartan completed a brilliant two-year career leading the Spartans to an overall 17-8 win-loss record, a 2012 Military Bowl victory and the program's first win over a top-25 ranked team in 13 years when San Jose State defeated #16-ranked and previously unbeaten Fresno State, 62-52, on November 29, 2013.
Fales completed 68.1 percent of his passes for 8,382 yards and 66 touchdowns at San Jose State. He shares or holds 28 San Jose State single-game, season and career records and has a hand on three Mountain West Conference marks.
In the 63-year history of the Senior Bowl, Fales is the first San Jose State quarterback to accept an invitation to play in the game.
