Tuscan, Ariz. --- After a rain delay to start the day, the San José University women's tennis team fell to #73 University of Arizona, 4-0 in the first of two matches in Arizona.
Freshman Marie Klocker had the closest match in singles play, falling to Arizona's Lacey Smith, 6-2,6-3, and three matches went unfinished.
The Spartan's continue playing on Sunday, February 2, as the Spartans (2-4) travels to Phoenix, Ariz. to take on #43 ranked Arizona State. The match begins at 12:00 p.m. (MT) at the Whiteman Tennis Center on the Arizona State campus.
