Minneapolis, Minn.--The San José State University women's gymnastics team scored a 193.950 at the NCAA Minneapolis Regional to finish sixth Saturday night at the Sports Pavilion. Oklahoma won the meet with a 197.725.
The Spartans started the meet on beam with a 48.200. Bekah Gehr led the team with a 9.775, followed by Cami Guyer at 9.700, Alyssa Kashak at 9.675, Marissa Unpingco at 9.650, Julia Greer at 9.400 and Cassandra Harrison at 9.000.
After a bye, San José State came out on floor and scored a 49.875. Greer and Harrison led the team as they each scored a 9.850. Gher scored a 9.750, followed by Guyer at 9.725, Kiley Field at 9.700 and Alyssa Montalban at 9.100.
The Spartans then rotated to vault and scored a 48.475. Guyer led the team with a 9.775, followed by Harrison at 9.725, Kiana Gordon at 9.700, Greer at 9.675 and Montalban with a 9.600. Unfortunately, Gher had a fall on her landing and scored an 8.900.
After the team's second bye of the meet, San José State performed on bars in the final rotation. The team scored a 48.400, led by Gher at 9.725. Guyer and Unpingco each had a 9.700, followed by Rachel Heinl at 9.650, Harrison at 9.625 and Kaschak at 9.525.
In the all-around, Guyer led the Spartans with a 38.900, Harrison at 38.200 and Gher at 38.150.
