Santa Cruz, Calif. - San Jose State's Cody Blick recorded eight birdies, is at 137 (-3) and in a tie for fifth place after 36-holes of the 68th Transamerica/WFG Western Intercollegiate. As a team the Spartans are in 12th place with a 733.

Justin Estrada shots rounds of 72 and 74 and is in tied for 50th place at six-over par (146). He recorded three birdies on the day.

Daniel Semmler shot a one-over par 71 in the first round, which included a string of three straight birdies. In his second round of the day he struggled to a 77, which also included three birdies. His two round total of 148 places him in a tie for 60th.

Marcus Potter shot rounds of 76 and 75 and is in a tie for 79th place as is Felix Möesmang who carded a 75 and 76 for a 151 (+11).

Taylor Bromley is tied for 89th place. Playing as an individual he recorded an 80 in round one and an 81 in round two for a 161 total (+21). Landon Polterock had an 80 and an 83, is at 163 (+23) and in 91st place.

Stanford leads the tournament with a 696 and its Patrick Rodgers and Cameron Wilson and Washington's Trevor Simsby share the 36-hole lead at 134 (-6).

The 54-hole championship concludes with 18 holes on Sunday starting at 8:30 a.m. on Pasatiempo Golf Course.
