July 23, 2014

San Jose State women's golfer Megan Osland remains in the top-10 of the 2014 Canadian Women's Amateur Championship after shooting a two-over 73 in the second Wednesday at the Craigowan Oxford Golf & Country Club in Woodstock, Ontario.

Osland is currently one-under after two rounds and tied for fifth place. She is one of six golfers under par for the tournament and just four shots out of first place.

Starting on #10 Wednesday, Osland started the round by making birdies on two of her first three holes - par-4 #10 and par-3 #12. Those were the only birdies she would make on her round as she made 13 pars on the round.

Holes #17, #18 and #2 proved harder for Osland in the second round. After a bogey-free round on Tuesday, Osland recorded a double bogey on #17, followed by bogeys on #18 and #2.

Osland is one of 71 golfers who made the cut for rounds three and four. The tournament champion earns exemptions into the Canadian Pacific Women's Open and the U.S. Women's Amateur.
