Bristol, Conn.----- The September 6 San Jose State University-Auburn University football game will be televised live by ESPN2 beginning at 4:00 p.m. (PT).
Both teams turned in convincing wins in their respective opening games. The Spartans (1-0) stopped North Dakota, 42-10. Auburn, ranked sixth in the Associated Press preseason poll, defeated Arkansas, 45-21.
The Auburn game will be the first of two San Jose State appearances on ESPN2. The Spartans will return to ESPN2 on November 21 for a late-night encounter with Utah State.
San Jose State also appears on the ESPN family of networks for the October 4 Homecoming Game with UNLV and the October 18 Mountain West contest at Wyoming.
