SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San José State women's cross country finished ninth in the San Francisco State Invitational Friday evening at Speedway Meadow at Golden Gate Park.

Lalida Maokhamphiou crossed the finished the 6k course in 23:24.5 led San José State. Jenay Jauregui (51st, 23:48), Breanna Garcia (76th, 24:39), Miranda Dos Santos (79th, 24:47), Morgan Bailey (108th, 26:28), and Jessica Stacey (116th, 27:07).

Hannah Bell of Monterey Bay finished the 6k course in 21:40.8 to take the top spot, while Humboldt State finished as the top team with 73 points.

San José State will be back in action on Saturday, October 18 at the Santa Clara Invitational.
