"We are paid many compliments from opposing coaches and fans about our never give up attitude," said Spartan head coach Jolene Shepardson. "This reason is why it is so enjoyable to coach these young ladies. We are not getting the results we want yet, but that is not due to our lack of heart or effort. I expect us to continue to grow as players, competitors and teammates."
San José State returns home next week for two Mountain West matches. The Spartans host UNLV on Thursday, October 16, and San Diego State on Saturday, October 18.
