WOODEN LEGACY UP NEXT FOR MEN'S BASKETBALL
The San José State men's basketball team will compete three times in a span of four days during Thanksgiving weekend at the prestigious Wooden Legacy tournament. The ESPN family of networks will have live coverage of the eight-team, three-day, 12-game bracketed tournament to be played Thursday, Friday and Sunday, November 27, 28 and 30. The opening two days of competition will be staged at Titan Gym on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. The four games on Sunday November 30 will be played at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. The action for San José State begins on November 27 when the Spartans take on Washington at 8:00 p.m. inside Titan Gym.

SPARTANS IN-SEASON TOURNAMENT HISTORY
San José State's most recent in-season tournament was last season at the NIU Invitational (11/15-17/13). The team went 0-3 at the event with losses to Wisconsin-Milwaukee (64-61), Northern Illinois (60-59) and James Madison (79-66). Prior to that, San José State was the tournament champion at the 2011 Elgin Baylor Classic. It was the eighth in-season tournament title in program history.

SPARTANS LEAD MW IN REBOUNDING EARLY ON
Through four games, San José State leads all Mountain West teams in per game rebounding at 40.8, and total defensive rebounds with 126. Forward Frank Rogers leads all Spartans at 7.7 rebounds per game and guard Jalen James is averaging 5.3 per contest.

FINDING THE FIVE
San José State has gone with three different starting lineups through the first four games of the season. Jaleel Williams and Jalen James have started all four, while Frank Rogers and Jordan Baker have made three starts each. Head coach Dave Wojcik has also thrown Isaac Thornton, Darryl Gaynor, II and Leon Bahner in the mix of starters.

ABOUT WASHINGTON
The Huskies are out to a 3-0 start with wins over South Carolina State (77-59), Seattle U (63-48) and Pacific (76-69). Shawn Kemp, Jr., leads the way in scoring at 15.7 points per game. Last year, Washington finished 17-15 overall and 9-9 in the Pac-12 Conference. A loss to Utah in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament ended the 2013-14 season. The Huskies are coached by Lorenzo Romar in his 13th season.

SAN JOSé STATE, WASHINGTON BASKETBALL CONNECTIONS
Adrian Oliver, San José State's second all-time leading scorer (1,750 points), played the 2006-07 season with the Washington Huskies. Sam Allen, a member of San José State's 1996 NCAA Tournament team, played the 1993-94 season with Washington.
