LOS ANGELES, Calif. - San José State freshman diver Cari Reiswig placed sixth on the 3-meter springboard with a score of 279.95, on Friday, November 7, in the Trojan Invitational held at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
"We had a very solid day of competition, with the highlight being Cari making finals and finishing sixth," said head coach Sage Hopkins. "She is competing against some of the top talent in the NCAA and holding her own and we are excited for tomorrow!"
The University of Southern California took the top two of overall spots as senior Haley Ishimatsu led the field of 30, finishing first overall with a total score of 318.65, while junior Sam Adams finished second with 309.30 points.
Diving will continue on Saturday, beginning with the women's 1-meter springboard, at 11:00 a.m.
