Spartan fans wanting to get a sneak peak at the 2015 San José State University women’s gymnastics team can do so this Sunday, December 14. The Spartans will be competing in an exhibition meet at Stanford, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
The meet will be held in the Ford Center on the Stanford campus. The teams will compete in the gymnastics training facility.
San José State returns eight letterwinners from last year’s team and adds seven new gymnasts for 2015.
The Spartans will face the Cardinal in the first two meets of 2015. The two teams are part of the five-team NorCal Classic on Sunday, January 4, 2015, hosted by UC Davis, at 2 p.m. Competing at the meet are UC Davis, Sacramento State, California, Stanford and the Spartans.
Just five days later, San José State hosts Stanford in a dual meet at The Event Center on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 7 p.m.
The Spartans host three other meets during the 2015 season.
January 16 – California & UW-La Crosse
February 20 – UC Davis
March 6 – Sacramento State, Utah State, Seattle Pacific
All home meets begin at 7 p.m., and are held in The Event Center, located on the corner of Seventh and San Carlos Streets. Tickets are available the day of the meet at the door.
