San Jose, Calif.------ Rashad Muhammad scored a season-high of 22 points leading San Jose State University to a 74-63 win over St. Katherine College in a non-conference men's basketball game.
Forwards Jaleel Williams matched his season scoring high of 16 points and Frank Rogers chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds as the Spartans (2-8) ended an eight-game losing streak.
LeSean Galbreath was St. Katherine's leading scorer with 20 points. The Firebirds dropped to 1-10.
