The San José State women's tennis team looks to pick up its first win of the season when it travels north to face the Sacramento State Hornets on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The Spartans are coming off of losses to two of the top teams in the country, No. 19 Oklahoma State and No. 27 Tulsa, to open spring.

Freshmen Sybille Gauvain, Malin Cubukcu and Abbie Pahz saw action in both contests last weekend and are looking for their first-career dual match victories at San José State.

Last season, the Spartans topped the Hornets 4-3 behind Marie Klocker's first-career victory and Julianna Bacelar's match-clinching three-set victory over Daria Sevchenko.
