The San José State women's gymnastics team competes in the state of California this week as the team travels to Sacramento State for a meet on Friday, February 13, at 7 p.m., inside The Nest.

The Spartans enter the meet with a 194.088 team scoring average to rank 39th in the country. The team scored a 193.975 at Southern Utah last Friday. Maddie Herr won the all-around with a 38.950. Cami Guyer and Kaitlin Won also compete in the all-around for San José State. Gabrielle Kambur placed second on the beam last week with a career-best 9.825.
Sacramento State competed last Friday against George Washington. The Hornets had to count a fall on beam and fell to GW 194.625-193.575. Cassie Benning won the bars and floor for the Hornets.
Fans that bring a baby receiving blanket for donation to the meet can take advantage of a buy one, get one free promotion. All blankets will be donated to Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento as part of their "Baby Bundle" program.
SCHEDULE NOTE - Please note that the final home meet of the season has been moved to Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m., inside The Event Center. The meet was originally scheduled for Friday, March 6.
