LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) Josh Adams scored a season-high 26 points and added seven assists and six rebounds to lead Wyoming to a 77-60 win over San Jose State on Saturday.
Riley Grabau added 12 points, Derek Cooke Jr. 11 and Alan Herndon 10 for the Cowboys (20-6, 9-4 Mountain West), who had lost back-to-back games for the first time this season. Leading scorer Larry Nance Jr. (16.3 ppg) missed his third straight game with mononucleosis.
Rashad Muhammad 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Spartans (2-22, 0-12), who lost their 14th straight and have yet to beat a Division I team. Jaleel Williams added 14 points.
Adams, who averages 11.1 points, had 15 in the first half and the Cowboys shot 56 percent to take a 39-29 lead. Muhammad had 17 of the Spartans' points.
Wyoming made 14 of 25 field goals in each half and made 14 of 19 free throws.
