SKILLMAN, NJ - San José State's women's tennis team was recognized as the 75th-best team in the country, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Tuesday.
The national ranking is the first for the Spartans since they graced the weekly poll at No. 68 on the week of Jan. 21, 2014.
San José State is 6-4 this season despite playing just one home match, and all four losses have come to opponents ranked no lower than No. 47 at the time of the match.
The Spartans host Southern Utah on Tuesday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m.
