Colorado Springs, Colo.----- San Jose State University freshman Cari Reiswig completed her season finishing 35th out of 56 divers in the 1-meter event at the NCAA Zone E Championships.
Reiswig posted a 241.25 score for her six dives at the Air Force Academy Cadet Natatorium. A 260.35 total was needed to be among the top 18 to advance to the final.
The Galt, Calif., finished her season as the first Spartan to earn All-Mountain West honors in diving with her fourth-place finish in the 1-meter and fifth-place in the 3-meter diving events at the Mountain West Championships in San Antonio, Texas.
Freshman Morgan McCormick will wrap up San José State's season at the NCAA Championships in Greensboro, N.C., starting March 18. McCormick is entered in the 100 and 200 backstrokes and the 200 individual medley.
