Las Vegas, Nev. - For averaging 18 points and 7.1 rebounds in three games and equaling a record for three-pointers in a game, Spartan senior forward Rebecca Woodberry earned All-Tournament honors for her play in the 2015 Mountain West Basketball Tournament, it was announced on Saturday.
In three games, Woodberry was an efficient 19-for-38 from the floor (.500) including 12-for-25 from beyond the arc (.480). She led the team with 26 points against Utah State, including a MW Tournament record tying eight three-pointers.
In the Spartans 64-55 upset of top-seeded Colorado State, Woodberry scored 11 points and let the team with 12 rebounds.
Against eventual Mountain West Tournament champion Boise State she led the team in scoring with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting, dished out four assists, blocked a shot and had two steals.
Woodberry is the first Spartan to earn Mountain West Tournament honors.
