Women's Golf Begins Week At Bay Area Intercollegiate

The San Jose State women's golf team looks to continue its winning ways this week as the team competes at the Bay Area Intercollegiate at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif., on March 9 and 10.



The Spartan lineup will be Megan Osland, My Leander, Regan De Guzman, Elizabeth Schultz and Kathleen Rojas. Fanny Johansson will play as an individual. The Spartans will play with Washington and Indiana, starting on holes 9, 10 and 11.



The Meadow Club will play at par 71 and 6,050 yards.



The field consists of BYU, Coastal Carolina, Colorado, Colorado State, Gonzaga, Indiana, Oregon, UC Riverside, UC Davis, UC Irvine, San Francisco, UNLV, Washington and the Spartans.



The teams will play two rounds on Monday beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The final round begins on Tuesday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.



San Jose State is coming off the win at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational to end the month of February. Osland tied for medalist honors at the tournament.
