Azusa, Calif. --- A long day of action for San José State women's outdoor track and field was highlighted by new school records set by Makayla Webb and Cambree Harbaugh at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif.

A day after Jade Childs set SJSU's best mark in the long jump, Cambree Harbaugh surpassed it with a 5.97-meter try on Friday. The jump was the best of the season in the Mountain West and an improvement upon Harbaugh's previous season-best of 5.54 at the Stanford Invitational (4/3).

Webb's 1:01.02 in the 400-hurdles was a school-record breaking time, and a top-five time this season in the Mountain West. It was her second season-best of the day, as the freshman also ran a 12.28 in the 100-meter dash.

Not to be outdone, Caitlin Wilson matched her school-record time of 24.51 in the 200-meter dash. Wilson clocked the same time a week ago at the Sun Angel Classic. (4/11).

The Spartans saw another significant improvement in time from Melanie Fujiwara, who ran an 18:13.73 in the 5,000-meter run. Her previous season-best in the event was 18:48.21.
