"We had a nice tournament," said Spartan head coach John Dormann. "We did not take advantage of our scoring holes, and our putting really let us down today. We hope to continue the season at regionals in two weeks."

The Spartans now await word about NCAA Regionals. The announcement will be made this Monday, April 27, at 4 p.m. PDT, on the Golf Channel. This year, the regionals, to be held May 7-9, have been expanded to four locations -- Raleigh, N.C.; South Bend, Ind.; San Antonio, Texas; and St. George, Utah. Eighteen teams and six individuals will compete at each regional. Six teams and two individuals will advance from regionals to the championships May 22-27, in Bradenton, Fla.
