Olympia Fields, Ill. -- San José State men's golfer Cody Blick shot a second round 77 for a 146 total and will not make the 64-player cut for the 115th U.S. Amateur Championship.

Blick was in contention to be one of 64-players but made two double bogeys and two bogeys in the back nine.

Second round play was suspended due to darkness as the current cutline is projected to be three-over 143 for an opportunity to be in the 64-player field for the match play portion of the championship. Blick was in a field of 312 players vying for this year's title.

Blick, a senior-to-be from Danville, Calif., shot one-under par 69 in the first round at the Olympia Fields Country Club.

In last year's U.S. Amateur, Blick missed advancing to the top-64 match play round by two strokes.
